Since the PSP entered the scene it has undergone a number of diets which led to the Slim 2000 and Slim 3000. Now the PSP has ditched the weight loss and opted for a full new cosmetic makeover.
From an aesthetic point of view the PSP Go is a much smaller looking contraption with its slide out keypad safely tucked away neatly until you really need to make use of it. It is definitely better looking than its predecessors, with its sleeker lines and newer looking keypad which breathe some new life into this handheld. With a larger screen, the GO is easier on the eye and it also runs a little faster thanks to the increase in processing power.
One of the biggest changes is the GO’s lack of a UMD slot. Games will have to be purchased and downloaded from the Playstation store and saved onto its memory card.
We’re no fan of facelifts but this one may just be an exception.
