Fans have been waiting in anticipation for a chance to continue the adventures of Nathan Drake. In order to give a little sample of what to expect, Sony made a Beta version available for preview at Rage 2009. For those who did not manage to get their hands and eyes on this one, the Beta manages to showcase the massive potential that this game has to offer.

Yes, graphics are not everything but Uncharted 2 has some really impressive looking visuals to show-off. There are some jaw-dropping moments where one could mistake gameplay for CG cutscenes. The environments look vast and lush. Not to mention some crazy looking explosions.

The platforming that the first Uncharted offered has been taken to an all new level, where Drake will have to bring out all the stops in order to make his way around obstacles and surroundings. Your ability to jump will also be affected by your environment which can be unpredictable at times.

Uncharted will be jumping to a store near you at the end of this month. We’re jumping for joy to play the full version of this definitive platformer.
