Although a little predictable, EA’s survival-horror and one of 2008′s best games will recieve a well deserved sequel.

Visceral Games announced that the Dead Space story and universe will continue, as players will once again take the reigns of Issac Clarke, the mining engineer and protagonist of the original Dead Space. Expect to see more and even freakier necromorphs, new weapons, more zero-G sequences, over-the-top dismemberment and an unpredictable story which expands on the Dead Space universe with new characters, settings and twists.

A Dead Space 2 TwitPic teaser has been released and is the only real visual treat to examine. Whether you can make something out of it or not, we don’t know. But what we do know is that Dead Space 2 is being developed for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. No release date has been announced but stay glued to GamesCastLive for more information soon.
