On Saturday the 6th of March, the FIFA Interactive World Cup made it’s appearance at Cresta Shopping Centre in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The local qualifier kicked off with over 400 competitors and hundreds of onlookers cheering them on throughout the competition. Amongst all the chaos was some performances and an appearance by none other than Zakumi himself.

The competition intensified throughout the day, until a champion was crowned, as  Collen Ndlovu to become the victor of the South African leg of the tournament. Collen will go onto face other winners in the next FIWA tournament to be held in Spain. Check out all the pics from the day:
