Even though last year’s phenomenal Assassin’s Creed 2 has just simmered down, it looks as if AC fans will be treated to another history-jumping stealth title in the series.

Ubisoft stated that another Assassin’s Creed game would be released within the fiscal year, and the evidence is finally here to back that up.

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is set to throw players back into the leather boots of the AC2’s protagonist Ezio, as he takes on the Templar Knights. This time however, the game will take place in Rome, so expect more beautiful architecture and gorgeous vistas.

Another addition will be multiplayer, as Assassins Creed: Brotherhood will support online play. Details of this are sketchy at the moment, but it’s possible that we could be seeing group assassinations and team-ups in the mix.
