E3 Information Blowout

With E3 starting tomorrow (the 15th of June), information and details on upcoming and unannounced games and hardware are flying in left, right and center. Although the official expo is only open to the public tomorrow, some very interesting press conferences and reveals happened today, and we’re here to bring you a brief breakdown of what’s been going on.

Ubisoft have released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. The secretive multiplayer AC title has been known of for quite some time now, but a cinematic CG trailer shows off some of the action that Ezio’s next gang-filled adventure could have in store for us. Check out the new Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood trailer for yourself.

Codemasters have dropped a trailer which shows-off some gorgeous gameplay from it’s action-packed shooter Bodycount. From the team who brought the highly-acclaimed (and highly-destructible) Black on the original Xbox and PS2, Bodycount promises to bring a greater level of environmental destruction than anything seen before. What do you think of the new Bodycount trailer?

One of the biggest stories of the day definitely goes to Microsoft. As speculated, Microsoft have announced the Xbox 360 Slim, which puts a big fat ‘tick’ right next to the rumors. The console is said to include a 250GB hard-drive and built-in wireless support. A $299 (R2300 appx) price tag is being thrown around, but as soon as it is confirmed by retailers we’ll let you know.
