Taking a different perspective on the genre of racing, Blur has impressed us so far with its incredibly fast speeds and acid trip like power-ups. The multiplayer beta lets you take a bash at the online feature that Blur will offer on release.

Players will be able to take part in a number of whacky and fun-filled race modes where they will earn XP (known as ‘fan points’ in the game). In your quest for victory you will have a number of power-ups available all over the track, which have the ability to help you out and cause serious damage to your opponents. Ranging from speed boosts, repairs, shields and others, you’ll find yourself happily wrecking opponents just to get ahead. The power ups are extremely trippy and a blast to use.

Besides your final race result, XP will be received for drifting, wrecking cars, using power-ups, recovering from crashes and a lot more. There are also sets of challenges (similar to the Call of Duty challenges) to complete which will help you earn additional XP or fans. Ranking up lets you get your hands on better cars, mods and crazier race modes. From what we’ve seen the car round up looks fairly impressive; sporting the likes of the Scirocco, Ford Focus RS, Megane Trophy and a bunch of other slick looking street racers.

So far Blur is looking to hold the potential to be a great title filled with fun, screaming, and intense moments. It’s a great break from the common race sim and with its stylized visuals, and unique gameplay. We cannot wait to get hold of the full version.

Red Steel 2

Equipped with the Wii Motion plus, this gun slinging, sword wielding title will grant users the ability to feel like they’re part of the game.

Battlefield Bad Company 2

The highly anticipated sequel is sure to deliver one of the most exciting shooters of 2010, and some more addictive multiplayer gameplay. Expect to see some mind-blowing explosions and collapsing buildings.

Bioshock 2

Fans of FPS’s and the first Bioshock will be looking forward to another jaw-dropping experience mixed with supernatural elements and a story you can’t afford to miss. With a new multiplayer feature, Bioshock 2 is set to deliver a great campaign and tons of replay value.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Your favorite little Italian plumber with a moustache will be back on your Wii next year. Mario has even more galaxies to visit and a whole bunch of new cuddly characters to interact with. One thing we know for sure, Mario is gonna be busy in 2010.

Army of Two: 40^th Day

Salem and Rios will return in 2010 and will be bringing back some more co-op greatness along with them. Grab your best friend and wait for this impressive title to arrive.

Heavy Rain: The Origami Killer

With jaw-dropping visuals which were revealed at E3, this PS3 exclusive promises to bring a mind-bending psychological thriller storyline. Many PS3 owners will be looking forward to this unique title.

Splinter Cell Conviction

Xbox 360 owners will be looking to get their hands on Sam Fisher’s adventure with this exclusive title. Having seen a preview at R@GE 2009, we must say that Conviction is looking very promising.

Massive Action Game (MAG)

256 players in one arena?  Sounds ludicrous yet extremely fun all at the same time. Online fanatics will definitely be looking to spend their time with this anticipated title.

Halo: Reach

Halo fans will get to experience yet another Halo installment which is sure to deliver an epic campaign which the series has become known for.

God of War 3

Fans around the world have been waiting for this sequel since they finished the second God of War installment. This title is sure to give all Greek mythology buffs and hack and slash fans a great experience.
